Produktbeschreibung

The OLI NATURA® H2O-Hardener is the B component for OLI NATURA® Scandic-Oil Classic and Scandic-Oil For Furniture. The additional cross-linking supports curing and can accelerate hardening as well as the chemical resistance of the treated surface.

The areas of application depend on the respective Scandic-Oil. Mix the hardener thoroughly with the oil in the prescribed ratio shortly before processing.

Mixing ratio by volume – oil : hardener

10:1 – Scandic-Oil Classic and Scandic-Oil For Furniture

1 liter of oil + 100 ml of hardener
2.5 liters of oil + 250 ml of hardener
5 liters of oil + 500 ml of hardener

Mix only the required amount and process immediately. Observe the information in the technical data sheet for the respective Scandic-Oil.

Pot life: 2–3 hours. Do not process further after this time.

Which oils can I use with OLI NATURA® H2O-Hardener?

OLI NATURA® H2O-Hardener is approved for OLI NATURA® Scandic-Oil Classic and Scandic-Oil For Furniture . The mixing ratio is 10:1 by volume - oil : hardener. Example: 1 liter of oil + 100 ml of hardener. Follow the information in the technical data sheet for the respective Scandic-Oil.

Is OLI NATURA® H2O-Hardener a thinner?

No. OLI NATURA® H2O-Hardener is a reactive hardener component. It supports the cross-linking and curing of the water-based oil and is not intended for thinning.

Can I mix the oil and hardener directly on the wood surface?

No. Mix OLI NATURA® H2O-Hardener thoroughly with the Scandic-Oil before application. Prepare only the required amount and use it immediately.

How long can I use the mixed oil?

After adding OLI NATURA® H2O-Hardener, the pot life is 2-3 hours. Do not use it after the pot life has expired.

Can I store the oil-hardener mixture?

No. The reaction begins when the hardener is mixed in. Use the mixture within the pot life and do not return it to the original container.

What do I need to consider during application?

Ensure adequate ventilation. Do not inhale vapors or aerosols. Avoid skin contact and wear protective gloves, protective clothing, and eye protection. Follow the labels and safety data sheets for the hardener and Scandic-Oil.

How long can OLI NATURA® H2O-Hardener be stored?

In the unopened original container, OLI NATURA® H2O-Hardener can be stored for six months when stored in a dry place between +5 and +30 °C . Protect from water, moisture, heat, and direct sunlight.

Can I continue to use opened OLI NATURA® H2O-Hardener?

Close the container tightly immediately after each use and protect it from water and moisture. The stated shelf life of six months applies to unopened original containers; no separate storage period is specified for opened containers.
