FOR REGULAR CLEANING OF OILED WOODEN SURFACES
Footprints, food stains, adhering dirt - oiled wood has to withstand a lot in everyday life. Usually, a dry cloth or clear water is sufficient. Where dirt can no longer be removed this way, OLI NATURA® wood soap comes into play.
It cleans and cares for the surface in a single step, removes everyday dirt and has a re-oiling effect at the same time. This preserves the natural character of the wood - usable in many ways, both pure and diluted.
Which wooden surfaces is OLI NATURA® wood soap suitable for?
For oiled, waxed, soaped or limed wood indoors - from parquet and floorboards to stairs, furniture and other wood surfaces that can be wiped with a damp cloth. Suitable for private and commercial use.
When does wood need more than OLI NATURA® wood soap?
The wood soap takes care of regular cleaning and maintenance care. For heavy, old, ingrained or deeply embedded dirt, basic or intensive cleaning is the better choice - especially before re-oiling. If the surface appears dry, dull or visibly worn, maintenance oil for oiled wood is recommended.
Does OLI NATURA® wood soap change the appearance of the wood?
The wood soap cleans without leaching the surface or creating a grey haze. This makes the wood look clean, fresh and naturally cared for again after cleaning.
How easy is OLI NATURA® wood soap to use?
For regular cleaning, add 5-10 ml of wood soap per litre of lukewarm water and wipe with a damp cloth - using a cloth or white pad on small areas, and a floor wiper or flat mop on floors. For more stubborn dirt, apply undiluted to the affected area. The pH-neutral formula is gentle on skin and wood.
What else distinguishes OLI NATURA® wood soap?
The concentrate is highly effective, solvent-free and has a pleasantly fresh fragrance. The bottle is made of 100% recycled plastic and is fully recyclable. A push-and-turn cap ensures child-safe handling.
How to use OLI NATURA® wood soap correctly
1. Dry pre-cleaning
First remove dust, sand, and loose dirt by sweeping, vacuuming, or dusting.
2. Measure the wood soap
Shake the bottle well before use. For regular cleaning, measure 5–10 ml of OLI NATURA® wood soap per 1 liter of lukewarm water. 3. Clean with a damp mop
Dip a cloth, floor wiper, or flat mop into the cleaning solution, wring it out well, and wipe the surface until just damp. Only a thin film of moisture should remain on the wood.
4. Allow to dry
Avoid standing water and puddles. If necessary, absorb excess moisture with a dry cloth. Allow the surface to dry completely before using or walking on it again.
Recommended dosage
5–10 ml of OLI NATURA® wood soap per 1 liter of lukewarm water.
Tip:
For more stubborn dirt, apply the wood soap undiluted to the affected area, leave it to work briefly, then wipe with a damp cloth. Tip for larger areas
Use two buckets - one with the soap solution and one with clean water for rinsing the cloth or mop.
Note
Avoid standing water and puddles. Absorb excess moisture to prevent swelling around seams and joints.

How do I use OLI-NATURA wood soap correctly?
The wood soap is diluted with lukewarm water. One dosing cap (approx. 5–10 ml) per 1 liter of water is sufficient. Wipe the surface with a cotton cloth or mop until slightly damp, then allow it to dry.
If the surface is accidentally wiped too wet, soak up the excess water with a dry cloth to prevent standing moisture on the surface. For stubborn stains, the soap can also be used undiluted. After a short contact time, wipe again with a damp cloth.
What exactly does “wipe until slightly damp” mean?
“Slightly damp” means that the cloth or mop has been thoroughly wrung out and is no longer dripping. When wiping, only a thin film of moisture should remain on the surface - similar to a fine mist. This gently cleans the wood without saturating it.
If too much moisture does collect on the surface, simply soak it up with a dry cloth to prevent water from penetrating the wood or joints.
Which wooden surfaces is the soap suitable for?
OLI-NATURA wood soap is suitable for all oiled, waxed, soaped, or limed wooden surfaces indoors that can be wiped with a damp cloth - for example, parquet, stairs, furniture, or worktops.
Do I need to clean again or re-oil after wiping?
No, this is not necessary. The soap cleans thoroughly and replenishes oils without leaving a layer. Additional re-oiling or wiping is not required after cleaning.
How economical is the wood soap?
The wood soap is a highly concentrated cleaning product and is therefore very economical. Only a small amount is needed for thorough cleaning. One liter is sufficient for numerous applications, depending on use.
Can I also use conventional household cleaners?
This is strongly discouraged. Use only pH-neutral cleaning products specifically developed for oiled wooden surfaces. Conventional cleaners, especially highly alkaline ones, can dry out the wood and permanently damage the surface.
