PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

OLI-AQUA STANDARD 15.50 I 1K+2K parquet sealer is an environmentally friendly, water-based parquet lacquer for heavily used parquet and wooden floors throughout residential and commercial areas.

Developed for outstanding durability, it offers the performance of a two-component lacquer. By optionally adding OLI-AQUA hardener 13.2, the durability of the lacquer film is further increased, making it the perfect solution for high-traffic floors in commercial properties.

Visually, the environmentally friendly clear lacquer impresses with attractive, subtle enhancement of the wood grain and elegant pore definition. The emission-tested water-based lacquer is available in the gloss-level options » Extra-matt”, “Matt” and “Semi-matt”.

Choose between three different gloss-level options and choose OLI-AQUA STANDARD parquet lacquer to preserve the beauty and longevity of your floors.

APPLICATION

Application instructions: Optimal application conditions are at +20°C and 50% relative humidity. Do not seal at a floor temperature below +15°C. For optional 2K application, OLI-AQUA STANDARD 15.50 is mixed before use at a mixing ratio of 10:1 with OLI-AQUA hardener 13.2 stirred intensively. Let stand for 10 minutes before further processing. The pot life is 3 hours. Do not pour excess material back into the container. Process the material at room temperature and shake well before use! Do not pour the material onto the floor; process it directly from the bucket. For application on exotic woods, always consult the application technology department. Intermediate sanding is absolutely required if an intermediate drying time of 12 hours is exceeded. Apply another coat on the same day after intermediate sanding.

Surface preparation : Graduated wood sanding with grit 80/100/120. The finer the sanding, the less the wood can be roughened. The surface must be dry, thoroughly cleaned, and free of oil, wax, grease, silicone, and sanding dust. To minimize edge bonding, pre-prime with OLI-AQUA PRIME 15.81 . When renovating old parquet and on critical floors, we recommend an additional Roller application with OLI-Universal Primer 1.50.

Recommended system:
Apply the material evenly in thin sections at 100 g/m² by roller .
After 2-3 hours' drying, apply the 2nd coat by roller at 120 g/m².
After drying overnight, sand between coats with 120-150 grit. Vacuum and apply the 3rd coat with 120 g/m².
Carefully walkable after 5-6 hours. Fully load-bearing after 8-10 days.

CARE & CLEANING

Parquet floors should be vacuumed or swept daily, as sand and dust can cause fine scratches. Adhering dirt can be removed with the mild cleaning soap » OLI-AQUA CARE Parquet cleaning and care product e« remove promptly. It is important to avoid excessive wetting and standing water.

At the same time, the sealed wood floor should periodically be cared for and refreshed with » OLI-AQUA POLISH Basic parquet care « should be given. The care product provides an additional care film that prevents wear of the seal and protects against traffic marks and scratches.

TESTING STANDARDS

For a clean future, we are committed to developing extremely low-emission surface protection systems for treating wood. Therefore, the »OLI-AQUA STANDARD 15,50 I 1K-Parquet Sealer« is particularly environmentally friendly and meets the current state of coating technology.

The water-based lacquer is a building product approved by the German Institute for Building Technology (DIBt), meets the latest statutory requirements of the GISCODE W2+ classification and complies with TRGS. It may therefore be used by professional applicators for coating wood floors.

The cured material is harmless to humans, animals and plants; it complies with DIN EN 71-3 (safety of toys) and DIN 53160 (resistance to saliva and perspiration).
