This OLI-AQUA MODU B 18.35 I 1K+2K- color lacquer is a fast-drying water-based lacquer system for the colored spray coating of furniture surfaces.

The pigmented lacquer can be used indoors for coating wood and wood-based materials - furniture, panels, moldings, cladding, doors, and stairs.

This color lacquer is characterized by its very good filling and hiding power, lightfastness, and adhesion. The abrasion-resistant coating is resistant to perspiration and chemicals. At the same time, the surface has a smooth, satin-gloss appearance.

For normal use, this color lacquer can be applied without the hardener component. For demanding applications, such as stairs and high ring resistance, MODU B can be applied with OLI-AQUA Hardener 13.2 at a mixing ratio of 10:1. Depending on the required quality, direct coating of well-sanded and cleaned foils is also possible without a primer. Pre-filling raw MDF with OLI-AQUA 15.88 I 1K insulating filler. is recommended. To protect the color lacquer and achieve a specific gloss level, the surface can be topcoated with our clear lacquers OLI-AQUA MODU T, OLI-AQUA PRO M, or OLI-AQUA NORDIC. The latter is particularly recommended when an ultra-matte finish is desired.

The pigmented lacquer can be applied quickly using a cup gun, airless, or airmix spray equipment. It has good sag resistance on vertical surfaces and provides an even flow. The coating is dry after just two to three hours and can then be further processed.
