For larger furniture, table, and work surfaces, as well as manual treatment of wooden floors. Dimensions: 25 × 11.5 cm. Each pack contains 5 pads of one color: White, Beige, or Green.

Which pad color is suitable for which application?

Green - Cleaning Pad
Hard, with a mild abrasive effect. For removing light to medium soiling from wooden surfaces. Cuts down raised wood fibers and smooths the surface.

Application instructions

Choose the pad suitable for the application and follow the processing instructions for the oil or wax. Distribute and massage in the wood oil evenly with the beige pad. After the penetration time, remove any noticeable excess oil with a lint-free cloth. Then polish with the white pad until the surface is even and no wet or sticky oil film remains.

When cleaning with the green pad, first test it in an inconspicuous area, as it has a mild abrasive effect.

FAQ & Tipps

Which surfaces are the OLI NATURA® Super Hand Pads suitable for?

The 25 × 11.5 cm format is suitable for larger furniture, table and work surfaces, as well as for manually treating wooden floors. Follow the application instructions for the oil, wax or cleaning product being used.

Which pad color is suitable for which application?

Beige: Medium-soft and grippy for spreading and working wood oils and waxes into the surface, especially on hardwood.
White: Soft for removing light oil residues and for final polishing. Also suitable for polishing maintenance oils.
Green: Hard and slightly abrasive for cleaning and smoothing raised wood fibers.

Which pad holder is suitable for the Super Hand Pads?

The pad holder with handle is suitable for larger furniture and work surfaces. For wooden floors, the pad holder for telescopic handle allows you to work standing up when used with a suitable handle. Both holders are suitable for the 25 cm Super Hand Pads and are available separately.

Can wooden floors be oiled by hand with the Super Hand Pads?

Yes, provided that the oil being used is suitable for manual application. A pad holder for a telescopic handle allows you to guide the pads while standing. This does not replace machine application if required by the oil manufacturer.

How can you tell when sufficient polishing has been done?

The surface should look even and should not have a wet or sticky oil film. Remove any noticeable excess oil with a lint-free cloth and then polish with the white pad.

When should the white polishing pad be replaced?

Use a fresh pad as soon as the previous pad no longer absorbs light oil residues or no longer polishes evenly.

Do the Super Hand Pads have an abrasive effect?

The white and beige Super Hand Pads have no abrasive effect. The green pad is slightly abrasive and may alter the surface. Therefore, test it on an inconspicuous area first.

Can the Super Hand Pads be cleaned and reused?

With oxidative-drying wood oils, the oil hardens in the pad. Cleaning and subsequent reuse are then not possible.

Can oil-soaked Super Hand Pads ignite spontaneously?

Yes. Pads soaked with oxidative-drying wood oils can ignite spontaneously. After use, moisten them with water, allow them to dry completely outdoors, and only then dispose of them.

What does a pack of Super Hand Pads contain?

A pack contains 5 pads in one color, optionally white, beige or green. The pads measure 25 × 11,5 cm. Pad holders and telescopic handles are not included.

Are smaller pads or pads for random orbital sanders also available?

For smaller areas, edges and corners, OLI NATURA® Mini Hand Pads or the 21-piece pad set with hand pad holderare suitable. For machine application, round Super Pads for random orbital sanders with Ø 152 mm are available.
