OLI NATURA® Refresher - optically neutral refreshment for oiled wood
Water-based, VOC-free maintenance oil for the initial care and refreshing of oiled wood surfaces. Preserves the existing colour character without significantly deepening it. Particularly suitable for light, white and coloured oiled surfaces as well as for OLI NATURA® Scandic-Oil treated surfaces in raw wood look.
When do oiled parquet, stairs and furniture need maintenance?
If water repellency decreases or the wood looks dry and dull, refresh it with Refresher. For oxidatively oiled parquet and floorboard floors, stairs and furniture indoors. For initial care, follow the application instructions for the oil used.
Which maintenance oil is suitable for the desired wood look?
The pigment-free Refresher provides optically neutral care. If you want the existing wood colour and grain to stand out more, choose OLI NATURA® Wood Care Oil. For surfaces treated with hardwax oil, OLI NATURA® Wood Care Wax the appropriate maintenance product.
How is oiled wood refreshed with Refresher?
Clean the surface and allow it to dry completely. Shake Refresher well and apply neat and undiluted in a thin coat. Treat small areas with a cotton cloth or white pad, and larger areas with a sprayer and flat mop or floor wiper. Distribute evenly, remove all excess material and allow to dry.

Refresher is low-odour and baubook-declared. Cloths and pads soaked with Refresher are not prone to spontaneous combustion.

How to use OLI NATURA® Refresher
Preparation
Remove dust and loose dirt. Clean with OLI NATURA® wood soap and allow to dry completely. Test beforehand in an inconspicuous area.
Application
Shake the container well. Use Refresher neat and undiluted .
- Parquet and floorboards: Apply a thin coat with a pump sprayer and distribute with a floor wiper or flat mop. Work in sections, applying in slightly overlapping passes.
- Furniture and stairs: Apply a thin coat with a white pad or cotton cloth and gently work it in.
- Remove excess completely, avoid puddles and allow to dry. Ensure good ventilation during application and drying.
Coverage
One application with approx. 20–30 ml/m², equivalent to 35–50 m²/L. Depending on the absorbency and condition of the surface.
Drying
After approx. 2 hours, safe to walk on carefully, after drying overnight, ready for use. Do not clean with water or apply further care products during the first 5–7 days. The drying time depends on temperature, humidity, ventilation and application quantity.
Cleaning tools
Clean cloths, pads and tools with water immediately after use. Dispose of cleaning residues properly.
Storage and shelf life
Store in a cool, dry and frost-free place. When unopened, the product can be stored for at least 24 months. Close opened containers tightly and use promptly.
The product is not subject to labeling requirements. The mixture is not classified as hazardous within the meaning of Regulation (EC) No. 1272/2008. It does not need to be labeled with GHS hazard pictograms or signal words and is not classified as dangerous goods.

Special labeling of certain mixtures
EUH208 Contains 1,2-benzisothiazol-3(2H)-one; 1,2-benzisothiazolin-3-one, reaction mass of 5-chloro-2-methyl-2H-isothiazol-3-one and 2-methyl-2H-isothiazol-3-one (3:1). May produce an allergic reaction.
When should oiled wood be refreshed?
When its water repellency decreases or the surface appears dry and dull. The frequency depends on use and wear.
Does OLI NATURA® Refresher change the color of the wood?
The Refresher is pigment-free and optically neutral. It preserves the existing color character without significantly deepening it. Test the effect beforehand in an inconspicuous area.
Can I add the Refresher to the cleaning water?
No. Apply it undiluted to the clean, completely dry surface. For cleaning use OLI NATURA® wood soap .
When is initial maintenance possible?
Refer to the application instructions for the oil used to determine when initial maintenance can be carried out.
What does the Refresher smell like?
The Refresher has a mild odor. Ensure adequate ventilation during application and drying.
When can the surface be cleaned with a damp cloth again?
During the first 5–7 days do not clean with a damp cloth or carry out further maintenance, so that the maintenance oil can fully cure.
Are oil-soaked cloths and pads self-igniting?
Cloths and pads soaked with Refresher are not self-igniting. Clean them with water immediately after use.
