PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

The uncomplicated one: OLI-AQUA DOMO 15.40 I 1K parquet sealer is the ideal 1K water-based sealer for normally to heavily trafficked parquet and wooden floors in residential areas, offering a convincing price-performance ratio.

Easy, seamless application with excellent flow guarantees a visually perfect result. Even inexperienced users can safely get started in the world of parquet sealing with »OLI-AQUA DOMO«. The sealing film is not only particularly resistant, but also extremely clear.

Combined with its good enhancement of the wood grain, it is suitable not only for sealing common wood species such as oak and beech, but also for darker woods.

Tip: Also ideal for renovating residential stairs.

It can also be used without a prior primer lacquer, which offers a significant application advantage. A primer lacquer is recommended only for critical woods or parquet over underfloor heating in order to minimize the risk of open joints. OLI-AQUA DOMO can be applied evenly and without pressure in three roller applications of 100-120 g/m² per coat. To achieve a perfect surface result, intermediate sanding should be carried out before the final sealing coat.

APPLICATION

Application instructions: Optimal application conditions are +20°C and 50% relative humidity. Do not seal below a floor temperature of +15°C. Apply the material at room temperature and shake well before use! Do not pour the material onto the floor; apply it from the bucket. For application on exotic woods, always consult the application technology department beforehand. Intermediate sanding is essential if an intermediate drying time of 12 hours is exceeded. Do not spread problem woods such as beech, maple, or ash; roll instead! Due to the strong enhancement of the wood grain, use a trowel only with DOMO as the topcoat. Apply the next coat on the same day after intermediate sanding

Surface preparation: Graduated wood sanding with grit 80/100/120. The finer the sanding, the less the wood can become rough. The surface must be dry, thoroughly cleaned, and free of oil, wax, grease, silicone, and sanding dust. To minimize edge bonding, prime first with OLI-AQUA PRIME 15.81. When renovating old parquet and on critical floors, we recommend an additional roller application of OLI-Universalgrund 1.50 for insulation and adhesion promotion.

Recommended build-up / Roller application:

Roll the material evenly and thinly in sections at 100 g/m².
After 2-3 hours of drying, apply the 2nd roller coat at 120 g/m².
After drying overnight, intermediate-sand the lacquer with grit 120-150. Vacuum and apply the 3rd roller coat at 120 g/m².
Carefully walkable after 5-6 hours. Fully loadable after 8-10 days.
