OLI NATURA® Super Hand Pads - 5 pieces, single-color

Massage in, polish, clean - the right pad for larger surfaces by hand. Extra-thick, rectangular fleece pads for applying wood oils, maintenance oils, and oil-wax combinations, as well as for cleaning wooden surfaces. For larger furniture, table, and work surfaces, as well as manual treatment of wooden floors. Dimensions: 25 × 11.5 cm. Each pack contains 5 pads of one color: White, Beige, or Green.

Which pad color is suitable for which application?

Beige - Massage Pad
Medium-soft and grippy, without abrasive effect. For evenly distributing and intensively massaging in wood oils and waxes, especially on hardwood. Ideal for high-solid oils such as OLI NATURA® Professional Oil and Worktop-Oil.

White - Polishing Pad
Soft, without abrasive effect. For removing light excess oil after the penetration time and for final polishing of oiled wooden surfaces. Also suitable for polishing maintenance oils and for oiling and waxing softwood.

Green - Cleaning Pad
Hard, with a mild abrasive effect. For removing light to medium soiling from wooden surfaces. Cuts down raised wood fibers and smooths the surface.

Application instructions

Choose the pad suitable for the application and follow the processing instructions for the oil or wax. Distribute and massage in the wood oil evenly with the beige pad. After the penetration time, remove any noticeable excess oil with a lint-free cloth. Then polish with the white pad until the surface is even and no wet or sticky oil film remains.

When cleaning with the green pad, first test it in an inconspicuous area, as it has a mild abrasive effect.

Safety and reuse

Pads soaked with oxidatively drying wood oils can spontaneously ignite. After use, moisten with water, allow to dry completely outdoors, and only then dispose of them.

With oxidatively drying oils, the oil cures in the pad. Cleaning and subsequent reuse are then not possible.

Can wooden floors be oiled by hand with the Super Hand Pads?

Yes, provided that the oil being used is suitable for manual application. A pad holder for a telescopic handle allows you to guide the pads while standing. This does not replace machine application if required by the oil manufacturer.

How can you tell when sufficient polishing has been done?

The surface should look even and should not have a wet or sticky oil film. Remove any noticeable excess oil with a lint-free cloth and then polish with the white pad.

When should the white polishing pad be replaced?

Use a fresh pad as soon as the previous pad no longer absorbs light oil residues or no longer polishes evenly.

Do the Super Hand Pads have an abrasive effect?

The white and beige Super Hand Pads have no abrasive effect. The green pad is slightly abrasive and may alter the surface. Therefore, test it on an inconspicuous area first.
