OLI-LACKE NØRDIC - ultra-matte furniture lacquer with raw wood effect

Furniture and stair surfaces that look untreated and as dead-matte as possible are highly popular with consumers. The water-based lacquer OLI-AQUA NORDIC raw wood effect lacquer based on bio-acrylate.
RAW WOOD EFFECT < 5 GLOSS
On light-colored softwoods and oak, the original color of the substrate remains virtually unchanged. The treated surface looks as if it were made of untreated, freshly planed wood. Nevertheless, the wood is protected by a durable lacquer film - virtually invisibly. In addition, the environmentally friendly water-based lacquer produces an astonishing gloss level of less than 5 Gloss. The matte lacquer finish scatters the light, further enhancing the dead-matte effect.
BRUSH OR SPRAY - WITH OR WITHOUT HARDENER
»OLI-AQUA NORDIC 18.40« has a very high solids content (>40%), can be easily applied by brush or sprayed with a cup gun or Air-Mix gun, and is very easy to sand. During the wet phase, a milky haze forms, which disappears completely as it dries and creates an exceptional raw wood effect. For particularly demanding applications, the raw wood effect lacquer can be enhanced with »OLI-AQUA Hardener 13.5« . The three-hour pot life is designed for practical use in serial lacquering.
ALSO AS A TOPCOAT FOR COLORED LACQUERS
The transparent »OLI-AQUA NORDIC 18.40« is also suitable as an ultra-matte topcoat for the »OLI-AQUA« colored lacquers. The colored surface offers excellent ring resistance and impresses with its extremely matte appearance. The velvety feel is perfectly coordinated with the surface appearance, which presents a uniform dead-matte finish from every angle.
GOOD BODY & DIFFICULT TO IGNITE
The non-yellowing-stable water-based lacquer offers high block resistance, good flow and good body, which is particularly important when spraying vertical components. In addition, »OLI-AQUA NORDIC 18.40« is certified as difficult to ignite according to the Europe-wide DIN EN 13501-1 test standard, and wooden building elements continue to comply with fire protection regulations after coating.
